Registration for the 2024 - 2025 School Year Is Now Open!

We are excited to welcome your children to St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. To ensure a smooth registration process, please follow the instructions below based on your child's grade level.

For new K-8th grade students, please complete the New Family Registration Form with accurate and up-to-date information.
For preschool students, please complete the Preschool Registration Form with accurate and up-to-date information.
For returning K-8th grade students, please complete the Returning Family Registration Form with accurate and up-to-date information.

The school requires a non-refundable $300 registration fee, payable to St. Francis de Sales School. If registration is completed by the end of Catholic Schools Week (the deadline for the 2024/2025 school year is February 4th, 2024), this fee will be applied towards tuition as a credit. Per the State of Illinois, the following are required before the start of school:

Physical exams are required for all preschool, kindergarten, 6th graders, and new students (click here).
Dental exams are required for all kindergarten, 2nd graders, 6th graders, and new students (click here).
Eye exams are required for all kindergarten and new students (click here).
Record request form for current/previous school for any new Kindergarten-8th grade students.

Preschool, Kindergarten, & First Grade Age Requirements

Preschool

A child entering the 3-year-old preschool program must be 3 years of age on or before September 1st.

A child entering the 4-year-old and Pre-K program must be 4 years of age on or before September 1st.

Kindergarten

A child entering kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st.

Under special circumstances, an underage child may be admitted with Principal approval, but only with preschool recommendation and after all children of proper age have been admitted.

First Grade

A child must be 6 years of age on or before September 1st.

Under special circumstances, an underage child may be admitted with Principal approval, but only with previous school’s recommendation and after all children of proper age have been admitted.
