Forming Disciples
St. Francis de Sales students continually build a relationship with God throughout grade school. Students are asked to be loving and active members of our Catholic faith community. They grow in knowledge and understanding of Church catechism, tradition, and Scripture, participate in prayer, liturgy, and sacraments, and become aware of social justice issues and the importance of service to others. By graduation, students are prepared to go forth as conscientious disciples.
Every year, a religious theme for the academic year is incorporated. The teachers and the students study and reflect on that theme each week. The last day of each school year the theme for the following year is announced. Annual school themes have included: Communion of Saints, Creator of Heaven and Earth, The Body of Christ and Serving from the Heart. The theme for the 2019-20 school year is "Angels Among Us."
