Volunteer Opportunities

Hello, Eagles Parents!
My name is Megan Roscoe, and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the PTO. My role is to help connect parents with volunteer opportunities.
I look forward to meeting you and helping introduce you to some of our wonderful events and activities to support our school and our children.
The first step for any volunteer is completing Protecting God’s Children compliance requirements. This includes:
1. Attending a Virtus training class and submitting to an Archdiocese background check. To sign up, please visit https://www.virtusonline.org and click on “First-Time Registrant” on the left-hand side. You will be directed to search for available classes anywhere in the Chicagoland area and provide secured personal information. There will also be periodic bulletins you will need to read and complete.
2. Complete a Code of Conduct form
3. Annually complete DCFS – CANTS Form
4. Mandated Reporter Training – School Employees, DREs/CREs, Catechists, Youth Ministers,
Scout Leaders, and Coaches.
For detailed Protecting God's Children requirements instructions, click here.
The second step is to create an account with SignUpGenius account, a free online tool used to organize all of our volunteer efforts. To sign up, please visit www.signupgenius.com and then look for sign-ups to be shared during the school year by your classroom parent, via the school e-newsletter and on the school website.
The third and final step would be to volunteer! We invite you to join us and make a difference in our wonderful community.
Please visit this page often for a full list of all volunteer opportunities for school, including upcoming events:

I am happy to talk with you more if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your sharing of time and talent for our children and look forward to seeing you soon!
