As a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Chicago, St. Francis de Sales School (SFS) provides an academically excellent, faith-based education to students of all ethnic, religious, cultural and economic backgrounds. SFS’ rigorous curriculum, dedicated faculty, and enriching community life guide students to grow personally, reflect on their values, and develop decision-making skills and a sense of responsibility for themselves and the world they will inherit.
What is the investment SFS makes in each student?
Each year SFS requires additional funds outside of tuition to ensure all students benefit from a high-quality, Catholic education. Tuition is kept as low as possible to remain competitive and committed to mission. This means that each year a gap remains between the cost of tuition and the actual cost of each child’s education.
SFS looks to our community to help build a bridge and assist the school on a path toward greater sustainability. While tuition and fees are the largest source of revenue, SFS requires the charitable support of parents, grandparents, alumni and friends for annual operating needs.
