Blue Ribbon School of Excellence - 2007 and 2018

Recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, St. Francis de Sales received the prestigious recognition as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2007 and 2018. Only the top 10% of all schools in the country receive this award.

All of our students graduate and are accepted into such high schools as Carmel Catholic, Lake Zurich, St. Viator, Stevenson, Mundelein, Barrington, Marmion, Regina, and Loyola Academy. Ninety-eight percent of our graduates go on to college and have attended such schools as Drake, Duke, Marquette, MIT, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Purdue, University of Chicago, University of Illinois, Vanderbilt, and many others. In a typical year, our 8th-grade class will include students who:

  • Post superior grades on High School Placements and Admission Tests
  • Place into Honors and AP at the high school level
  • Achieve Honor Roll status and graduate cum laude in their classes

 

Many of the students return to the area after graduation and stay involved in the parish as distinguished alumni.

St. Francis de Sales school is accredited by the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago.
