8th Grade Social Studies-6th Period Assignments

Complete the timeline for the War of 1812 on the attached document. 
Be sure to turn in once you have completed the assignment.

Complete the summary section of your Cornell Notes for Patterns of Population, Haves and Have Nots, and Worlds of Exchange. There should be a summary for each page of notes. Remember, this is something that should explain to you what your notes are about. It would be something that would take about 20 seconds to explain to someone else.

Personal Pennant
While I am the teacher (and authority) in this room, this is our classroom. I can’t think of a better way to make it part of a community than to leave a piece of you here that reminds you of this than to have symbols of you here. We will all create a pennant that includes a photo, some of our favorite things, and a goal. 
What to include on your pennant:
Photo of yourself (bring tomorrow—be sure to leave space)
Your name
A personal goal related to school
Share your favorites of three or four of these:
