Daily Homework

ALL students complete their assignment notebook in class. I go through it with them thoroughly on a daily basis and we complete it as a class together to ensure everyone is on the same page packing their items to go home. This page is a gentle reminder and should NOT be the sole source of your child's daily information. They may have assignments or notes from other courses outside of my room that they have written in their notebook or take home folder.

Notes: Today for Religion we took a test and the students were told to use their books and add the pages numbers where they found their answers (making inferences, provide text evidence and checking our answers).  You would have thought I told them to eat liver and onions soaked in hot mustard..... So many groans and grumbles (and eye-rolls).... We need more practice, but after over an hour.... they did it. Some even put random page numbers only to find that using that strategy was a poor choice. We will get there... I promise :)
